Do You examine eyes here?

For over 70 years we have depended on you getting your eyes checked wherever you like and bringing the new prescription here for us to fill.

Can I use my own frame?

Normally you can. We take the frame and lens measurements so you can wear your glasses while we make new lenses.

How long does it take to get my glasses?

We stock a large range of single vision lenses which can be cut and done in about an hour. Progressive lenses or “no line bifocals” and lined bifocals or trifocals take an average of 3 to 4 days.

Do I need an appointment?

You can come in at your convenience during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Do you have contacts here?

Yes, we have all the latest brands and styles.

Do you take my insurance?

We welcome most vision insurance plans. Please check with us for more information about the benefits available on your prescription eyewear. Your flex account dollars can be used for prescription eyewear including prescription sunglasses and contacts.

Can you refill my contact lens prescription?

Yes. Note that contact lens prescriptions expire 2 years from the exam date.

What training do you have?

Kevin is a Licensed Dispensing Optician with the State of Washington. He passed a three-year apprenticeship and a state exam. He is required to attend 30 hours of continuing education to renew his license.
